Hifi news 2001
In April 2001 the magazine Hifi news tested the AER drive units in an article
Carfre little big horn
In the first test the horn was driven with the original full range drive unit in the next test the membrane of this drive unit was exchanged against an AER MD 1.
The third and final driver unit option available is made from a DX3 magnet attached to AER cones. These gave the smoothest response of all and would seem to be a choice for the smaller room, or those whit a particularly “live” acoustic response.
The sound from these drive units could not be described as rolled off in any way; rather it seemed to give an even greater degree of definition without over-projection of the highest frequencies, resulting in a beautifully balanced reproduction of music. In a larger room the sound just became even more effortless and natural.

In May 2003 the renowned magazine Image Hifi tested the AER MK1 equipped ayon dragon; it is not only styled extraordinary it is more thanks to intelligent used pragmatism also a outstanding peace of engineers art. The workman ship is perfect.
A superior product of loudspeaker design no question, fun machine and serious instrument in one.

Image Hifi 03/2001
In March 2001 the magazine Image Hifi reviewed the legendary audio vector in the version from opera audio. The audiovector was heard for the first time with AER loudspeakers from which two were used per enclosure.
The lowest frequencies were reproduced by a corn horn. The amplifiers for the AER drive units are used with tube amplifiers. The listening results satisfied the author fully:
